• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for enterprise events, tracking performance and reporting on ROI. • Innovate new event initiatives to elevate SmithRx's presence at industry events and through our owned programs, ensuring we stand out in a crowded market. • Manage the end-to-end event budget, ensuring programs are delivered on-time and on-budget with a focus on maximizing impact. • Lead the planning and execution of our small to medium sized business event portfolios, including industry sponsorships, dinners, experiences, and regional field events. • Oversee all event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor negotiation and management, swag and collateral production, shipping, and on-site execution. • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to create compelling pre-event promotion, at-event engagement, and post-event follow-up campaigns that convert leads into opportunities. • Enable our sales team for success at events, providing clear pre-event briefings, managing on-site schedules, and ensuring a seamless lead handoff process.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in B2B event marketing, conference or tradeshows, or field events.
- A strategic mindset with a hands-on attitude. You can focus on the high-level plan while still having the ability to manage the small details.
- Experience managing tradeshows and corporate events from conception to completion. Health-tech experience is a plus.
- Excellent project management and budget management skills; you are organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- The ability to take initiative and be proactive with event deliverables to ensure deadlines are met. You can tackle details as well as manage and execute against a broader events vision.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with sales leaders, executives, vendors, and clients.
- Data-driven and analytical. You're comfortable with event technologies, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation platforms, and you use data to inform your decisions.

Role Description We are seeking an experienced Events Operations Manager to own end-to-end operational delivery for the Accelerate with Google digital event series. This person will be managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams and agencies, owning speaker logistics, and ensuring high-quality livestream production and post-event reporting. The role requires strong project management, operational execution, and the ability to pivot quickly during live events. - End-to-end project management for regional digital events: build and maintain project briefs, master timelines, milestone trackers and risk/issue logs. - Operational execution: oversee registration workflows, speaker coordination, pre-recording sessions, live Q&A logistics and post-event analytics. - Cross-functional coordination: orchestrate work across Regional CoE, regional PMMs, PSA (speaker) team and the creative agency (2RES) to ensure timely delivery of all assets and activities. - Creative & content delivery: manage creative development from brief to final deliverable, ensure presentations/graphics meet brand standards and secure stakeholder approvals. - Speaker management: schedule and coordinate speaker rehearsals, pre-records and live appearances; prepare and distribute speaker briefs and ensure content alignment with localized materials. - Production oversight: own technical production of livestreams, runbooks, run-of-show documents and live contingency plans; liaise with production/tech teams during events. - Process improvement: identify operational bottlenecks and implement execution-oriented process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk. - Quality control & reporting: validate deliverables, ensure milestone adherence, produce post-event summaries and performance insights to measure success and inform optimizations. - Stakeholder communication: provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders, escalate issues appropriately and manage expectations.
