Role Description The Resource Management Team Leader plays a critical leadership role within the RMO, ensuring the efficient and timely allocation of resources across all project types. This role oversees day‑to‑day staffing operations, drives global process consistency, manages whitespace, and serves as the primary escalation point for conflicts and complex staffing needs. Key Responsibilities - Leadership & Operational Oversight - Be the independent staffing engine for Professional Services business. - Lead daily staffing operations and ensure high‑quality, consistent execution. - Drive value proposition within RMO and business stakeholders. - Support operational KPI's by driving utilization and filling bench time. - End‑to‑End Staffing Process Ownership - Own and improve the global staffing process. - Oversee staffing for all project and service types. - Ensure staffing requests are fulfilled within the 3‑day OLA. - Champion consistent global staffing practices. - Oversee a seamless conflict & escalation process for staffing customer engagements. - Demand Planning from project backlog and pipeline - Provide capacity planning insights to enable a balanced pool of resources. - Support pipeline planning and forecast future needs. - Provide early visibility of upcoming capacity requirements. - Reporting & Management Insights - Create and evolve reporting to provide Services leadership with advanced staffing insights. - Ensure reporting is seamless and easy for both users and Resource Managers. - Using AI and automation - Optimize efficiency within our tools and processes. - Explore AI and automation within tooling in line with industry best practices. - Remove inefficiencies and make RMO faster & easier to do business with. Success Measures - OLA compliance - Capacity planning outputs - Business stakeholder satisfaction - Optimized & clean staffing processes - Effective conflict and escalation management Qualifications - Experience leading or coordinating a Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or Scheduling function within a Professional Services environment, ideally in an ERP, SaaS, or enterprise software business. - Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate Resource Managers or Planners in a delivery-focused organization. - Proven capability managing resource demand and supply across multiple projects, customers, and timelines in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment. - Strong understanding of Professional Services delivery and financial drivers, including utilization, capacity planning, margin, and forecasting. - Experience partnering closely with Delivery, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to enable successful project outcomes. - Hands‑on experience using PSA / resource management tools and strong analytical skills using Excel, reporting, and dashboards. - Comfortable working in a matrix, multi‑stakeholder environment, balancing competing priorities and driving decisions through influence. - Experience supporting global or multi‑country delivery models, including nearshore/offshore teams or partner resources (desirable).
