Role Description The Oracle APPS & Database Administrator (Oracle /SQL) is responsible for: - Administering, maintaining, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x environments, including application tier and database tier operations. - Performing Oracle Core DBA activities such as database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, cloning, and migrations. - Managing Oracle RMAN backups, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. - Monitoring and tuning database performance using AWR, ADDM, and SQL tuning techniques. - Supporting and maintaining SQL Server databases and Azure SQL databases, including installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, backup, and recovery. - Supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) hosted databases and ERP environments. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or related fields. - 8–10+ years of overall experience in Oracle database administration with strong exposure to Oracle ERP (E-Business Suite). - Proven experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) hosting Oracle databases and ERP workloads. - Hands-on experience as a SQL DBA, supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments. - Strong understanding of enterprise database architecture, security, and performance optimization. Requirements - Experience working in hybrid environments with on-premises and cloud platforms (OCI and Azure). - Oracle and/or Microsoft database certifications are a plus. - Production Support experience.
