Role Description N4 Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and hard-working WordPress developer to join our team in a high-paced and rewarding work environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Website Development & Maintenance: - Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. - Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and optimized for speed and SEO. - Implement and test new features, ensuring functionality across different browsers and devices. - Customization & Integrations: - Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements. - Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services into WordPress. - Configure and manage WordPress hosting environments. - Quality Assurance & Optimization: - Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. - Maintain best practices for code quality, security, and version control (i.e., Git). - Implement analytics, tracking, and reporting tools. - Collaboration & Support: - Work closely with designers, content teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality digital experiences. - Support junior developers by reviewing code and sharing best practices. - Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. - 3–5 years of professional WordPress development experience. - Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL. - Understanding of SEO, accessibility (WCAG standards), and site performance optimization. - Knowledge of hosting, DNS management, and WordPress security best practices. - Experience with WordPress REST API, custom post types, and advanced custom fields (ACF) preferred. - Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks is a plus. - Experience working in an Agile development environment. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. - Eagerness to stay updated on WordPress trends and technologies. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Works well in team environments. - U.S. Citizenship.
