Role Description We're looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer who: - Puts the borrower's benefit above all else - Thrives on complex, outside-the-box loan solutions - Builds real relationships with Realtor-partners & clients - Thinks like a financial planner, not just an order-taker - Wants to grow into leadership — from the inside In the role of Mortgage Loan Originator, you are essential in helping clients navigate their mortgage options. You evaluate clients' financial profiles and recommend appropriate loan solutions. You act as your clients' Mortgage Advisor from initial consultation to closing, ensuring that they understand and follow your professional recommendations. Collaboration with underwriters and other team members, as well as your Realtors and other third-party service providers, is key to delivering timely and efficient service. This position takes place in a home office setting. You engage with clients via Zoom, phone, and email, and maintain detailed records of all transactions in cloud-based systems. • You will be using company approved internet databases and phone tools to skip trace and locate customers/collateral and/or other parties to: • Verify that all funding packages submitted by dealers meet FHF quality standards. • Conduct phone verification of personal and employment information for prospective clients. • Verify the veracity of all information provided during application and funding process while screening for possible fraudulent documentation. • Actively manage incoming emails from dealerships and other departments regarding the loans. • Be in constant communication with dealerships regarding the status of their funding packages, both through emails and phone calls (inbound and outbound). • Conduct final funding interviews with prospective clients. • Assist other funding associates whenever needed. • Report and discuss with Funding Manager any potential risk flags not previously known. • Work with the rest of the funding team towards meeting FHF weekly/monthly targets.
