Mineral Title Agent

Role Description Volta Group is looking for an experienced Mineral Title Agent to support title research, ownership analysis, and curative efforts across energy and infrastructure projects. If you enjoy digging into complex chain of title, solving ownership challenges, and delivering highly accurate work product, we’d love to connect. - Conduct mineral title research using county records and online databases - Review deeds, leases, assignments, probate records, liens, and encumbrances - Prepare mineral ownership reports, title runsheets, and chain of title analyses - Identify title defects and recommend curative solutions - Draft and prepare recordable documents, including: - Affidavits - Memorandums of Lease - Assignments - Curative documents - Verify ownership interests, legal descriptions, and title position accuracy - Coordinate with county clerks and third-party vendors as needed - Maintain organized title files and project tracking documentation - Partner with project teams to ensure timely, client-ready deliverables Qualifications - 5+ years of mineral title experience (energy sector strongly preferred) - Strong understanding of mineral ownership, chain of title, curative, and legal land descriptions - Experience preparing title reports and recordable documents - Familiarity with county record systems and title research databases - Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional accuracy - Multi-state & Texas experience preferred Company Description

Role Description As Legal Counsel in the Legal Department’s Global Business Group, you will be a partner and trusted advisor to Amdocs’ business group, drafting and negotiating a variety of technology licensing, professional services, SaaS, managed services and other commercial agreements, as well as providing legal consultancy and participating in business decision making processes and promoting legal, regulatory, and Amdocs policy compliance, all in collaboration with other Amdocs units, including finance and tax, and external customers and vendors. You will be responsible for: - Drafting, negotiating and managing legal aspects of all forms of commercial agreements. - Supporting pre-sales activities in North America. - Providing ongoing post-closing legal support to internal business clients. - Utilizing innovative legal tech platforms and collaborating with broader legal teams. - Interfacing with a highly collaborative and interactive legal/business team. - Interacting with business clients, management, and outside customers regarding complex commercial agreements and transactions. - Providing legal analyses and risk assessments. - Participating in business decision making processes, providing practical and issue-focused legal advice and recommendations. - Leading the legal aspects of commercial negotiations with internal and external customers and vendors. - Working on cross-department and cross-company legal projects. Qualifications - Law degree from a recognized law school with solid record of academic achievement. - Admission to the Bar in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction. - At least 5+ years commercial and transactional legal experience (either in-house at a global hi-tech company or in an international law firm environment) with strong background in IT licensing, professional services and other services agreements. - Experience working in complex, dynamic and fast-paced environments. - Experience in business risks analysis and handling business needs in a complex and ever-changing environment. - Outstanding negotiation skills. - Strong customer-facing orientation. - Ability to conclude agreements of strategic importance with others inside and outside the organization that have widely differing perspectives and objectives. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Analytical thinking ability and strong attention to detail. - Highly motivated to learn and leverage legal tech solutions. - Ability to effectively work remotely in an environment where partners and counterparties are often not in the same location.
