• Build automation solutions end-to-end across the business: integrations, data pipelines, workflow automation, and scripting • Partner with stakeholders to identify and evaluate automation opportunities, exercising judgment on when AI is the right tool versus when a traditional integration, script, or workflow change will serve better • Own integrations and data movement between systems, SharePoint, SQL, file shares, documents, including ingestion, transformation, and keeping downstream data fresh • Build AI features where they add real value: prompt design, RAG pipelines (chunking, embedding, indexing into our vector database), and LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, and others as we evaluate) • Collaborate with our C#/.NET and Angular ERP codebase alongside the existing dev team — feature work, bug fixes, code review, the usual full-stack rhythm • Stand up and maintain containerized services — including self-hosted components like Qdrant for vector storage — running on our Azure platform • Collaborate with consultants brought in for specialized depth, and absorb knowledge from those engagements so we can reduce consulting spend over time • Prototype quickly to validate automation ideas before committing to full builds

Role Description We're looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our growing Engineering team! If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for ensuring quality through hands-on manual and automated testing, this role could be a perfect fit. You will play a key role in embedding quality into every stage of the development lifecycle. - Champion quality assurance and lead the adoption of best practices across the product and engineering teams - Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to define effective test strategies and acceptance criteria - Plan, design, and execute detailed manual and automated test cases to ensure full coverage of features and user scenarios - Drive technical decisions for our software testing processes and tools - Build, maintain, and help drive the direction of the test automation framework - Mentor test engineers on automation best practices - Identify, document, and track defects with clear and actionable reporting - Verify fixes, maintain comprehensive regression test suites, and drive continuous improvement of QA processes - Conduct exploratory, usability, and edge-case testing to uncover hidden issues - Produce detailed test reports and effectively communicate findings and risks to stakeholders - Help define, maintain, and improve test environments to mirror production conditions - Continuously evaluate and enhance QA workflows, tooling (including modern AI tools), and team efficiency Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA, with proven expertise in manual and automated testing and strong analytical skills - Experience designing and implementing QA strategies in agile development environments - Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field - Demonstrated success in elevating QA standards and improving product quality across releases - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and testing lifecycles - Proficiency in exploratory, regression, and smoke testing techniques - Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive UI testing - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams - Familiarity with Jira or other project management and defect tracking tools - Familiarity with source control management tools such as Git - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into automated build processes - Working knowledge of JavaScript or another high-level programming language - Leadership experience in software development or software testing - Proficiency with modern AI-driven tools such as Claude Code Requirements - Experience with performance, security, or accessibility testing - Experience in startup or fast-paced environments - Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms - Experience testing mobile applications - Experience leading a team of software testers Benefits - Do what you love!
