Investor Services Representative - Entry Level Kansas City, MO Remote - Georgia, US Remote - North Carolina, US Remote - Florida, US Remote - Texas, US time type Full time Location: Kansas City, MO (hybrid), Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia (remote) About the Role As an Associate Client Relations & Investor Services Specialist, you will be a key part of our hybrid team, combining elements of both client relations and investor services. This role will allow you to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional support in managing inquiries, resolving issues, and overseeing service delivery. SS&C combines proprietary technology with deep industry expertise to support complex financial and health care operations. Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence. You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments. How You Will Make an Impact - Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for both operational and investment inquiries. - Customer Service Excellence: Provide world-class service to clients by answering inbound calls, addressing questions, resolving issues, and providing support related to Alternative Investment products. This role serves as a steppingstone to gain deeper insights into the business in the Alternative space. - Research & Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex client issues, offering clear and concise solutions. This includes making outbound calls for updates or gathering additional information. - Service Delivery Oversight: Oversee the quality of service and operational performance for designated clients, ensuring compliance with program standards and delivery requirements. - Transaction Processing & Support: Accurately review, prepare, and process transactions on investor accounts while supporting clients through the service process. - Escalation Management: Handle more complex or escalated client inquiries, troubleshooting issues and collaborating with management and other teams to resolve them promptly. - Proactive Service Strategies: Implement strategies to reduce client downtime, improve service efficiency, and reduce support costs. - Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with team members, sales, and support teams to ensure client needs are met and identify opportunities for further engagement and business growth. - Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvements, support special projects, and demonstrate a commitment to professional development and learning. Required Experience - A Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma with at least 2 years of related experience. - Excellent interpersonal and professional communication abilities, with the capability to explain complex information in simple terms and build rapport with clients. - Ability to analyze complex situations, resolve issues efficiently, and offer solutions that benefit both clients and the company. - Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment, actively sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues to improve overall performance. - Strong enthusiasm for providing exceptional service, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and improving satisfaction. - Familiarity with service delivery processes, transaction handling, and support mechanisms (training will be provided). - Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and demonstrating initiative in addressing client needs and operational tasks. - A strong commitment to personal growth, learning, and staying up-to-date on financial services, investment products, and client service strategies. - Must be willing to work on site 6 days/month - Regular hours will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST - Initial training will be one month from 8 AM - 5 PM CST In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for equity awards such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
