Role Description Boomerang Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to provide psychological services to injured workers within the workers’ compensation system. This is a full-time, remote position tied to our Walnut Creek corporate office, reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health. This role requires active clinical delivery across the full scope of the clinician’s training and certifications, collaboration with an integrated multidisciplinary pain management team, and adherence to all clinical, administrative, and team-based expectations set by the Director of Behavioral Health. - Provide individual psychotherapy to adult injured workers, including those with accepted psychological claims (PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain–related conditions). - Deliver evidence-based treatment using the full range of modalities for which the clinician is trained and/or certified, including but not limited to CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based interventions, EMDR, and Brainspotting. - Conduct initial psychological assessments and develop, document, and update individualized treatment plans. - Facilitate group therapy (e.g., weekly coping skills group) as assigned. - Complete all clinical documentation in the EMR within 24–48 hours of each encounter, in accordance with workers’ compensation and payer requirements. - Actively coordinate care with the pain management team, including timely participation in case conferences, internal messaging, and referrals across clinic modalities. - Respond to internal communications (EMR messages, email, secure chat) within one business day. - Participate in clinical supervision, peer consultation, quality assurance, and chart review as directed. - Manage de-escalation of patients experiencing mental health crises or acute psychiatric episodes in a virtual setting; assess suicidal ideation and safety risk; and initiate appropriate interventions including safety planning and referrals in accordance with organizational SOP and clinical standards. - Attend required team meetings, including the Monthly Mental Health Meeting and any additional staff or training meetings called by leadership. - Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, licensure, HIPAA, and workers’ compensation standards. - Follow clinical and administrative direction from the Director of Behavioral Health. - Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned that are reasonably related to the role of Licensed Clinical Therapist. Role Description The Medical Science Liaison / Senior Medical Science Liaison serves as a highly trained, field-based scientific expert who engages with healthcare professionals to exchange clinical, scientific, and research knowledge. In accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines, they will facilitate and build scientific relationships and collaborations with the medical/scientific community. This position interacts with local, regional, and national HCPs, societies, and organizations, and provides educational, scientific, and research support for the SOBI rare disease product portfolio in the Immunology franchise. This is a remote position that requires up to 60% of travel. The territory covers NV, AZ, UT, Southern California (LA and south). Qualifications - Location within 30-40 minutes of Los Angeles, CA. - Accredited doctorate in a life science or basic science discipline (Pharm.D., D.Sc., D.N.P., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.). - An advanced health degree with extensive industry or clinical experience, with a demonstrated understanding of regulated biopharmaceutical processes, will also be considered. - Minimum of 1 year of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience. - Relevant clinical experience in immunology, in conjunction with a strong understanding of biopharmaceutical regulations, will also be considered. - Proven ability to interpret and communicate scientific information, address stakeholder needs, and respond to inquiries. - Adept at building and maintaining positive relationships internally and within the medical community. - Demonstrated success managing stakeholders and leading or influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Personal integrity, emotional intelligence, and adaptability. - Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape and articulate clear strategies.
