Job Description
Product Designer
MaintainX
Role Description We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines exceptional craft with deep product thinking to help shape the next generation of MaintainX’s AI-first product experience. You'll lead design across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research through prototyping and polished UI, for both web and mobile. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers to deliver features that make complex systems simple and intuitive for frontline users. Kindly note: we’re looking for a candidate based in Argentina and can work in EST hours. What You'll Do - Own end-to-end design for complex product surfaces across web and mobile, from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery. - Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers, making workflows simpler and smarter without adding complexity. - Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft. - Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality and accessibility across the product lifecycle. - Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output. Qualifications - 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms. You've designed for complexity, not just simplicity. - Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion with strong design system and handoff practices. - Experience designing for AI and data-rich experiences. - You're a systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product. - Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers. Benefits - Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities. - Take what you need PTO. - A Work Culture where you’ll work alongside folks across the globe that reflect the MaintainX values, Smart Humble Optimist. - We believe in meritocracy, where ideas and effort are publicly celebrated. Company Description Our mission is to deliver one platform for maintenance, repair & operations teams to keep the physical world running. We believe the greatest asset in any organization is the people. That’s why we built an intuitive, mobile-first solution to help boost productivity and collaboration across teams and locations. MaintainX is committed to creating a diverse environment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
