Role Description As a Product Manager at Athennian, you help shape how modern governance operations are built for some of the world’s most complex organizations. Working closely with engineering, design, and customers, you identify meaningful problems and turn them into products that bring clarity and efficiency to corporate structures. What you'll do: - Talk to customers often. Develop a deep understanding of how legal, finance, and governance teams operate and where their workflows break down. - Set product direction and roadmap priorities, balancing customer needs, company goals, and technical feasibility. - Partner closely with Engineering and Design to turn complex problems into thoughtful, well-built product solutions. - Make clear product decisions using customer insight, market context, and commercial inputs such as pricing, packaging, and segmentation. - Work with Sales, Support, and Implementation to ensure product launches are well understood and successful for customers. - Define product requirements and user stories that help engineering teams build efficiently while maintaining a high bar for quality. - Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and how governance operations are evolving. - Use AI tools in day-to-day product work to prototype ideas, accelerate discovery, and explore new ways to solve customer problems. - Identify opportunities where emerging technologies, including AI, can meaningfully improve customer workflows. Qualifications - 5+ years of product management experience building B2B SaaS products. - A track record of owning product areas from discovery through launch and iteration. - Strong product judgment and the ability to make thoughtful trade-offs in fast-moving environments. - Experience working closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality products. - Comfortable leading customer discovery and translating insights into product decisions. - Familiarity with AI tools and curiosity about how emerging technologies can improve products and workflows. - Clear communication and the ability to align teams around product direction and outcomes. - Previous experience in a startup/scale up environment. - Nice to Have: Experience working in Legal-tech, Fintech, or other complex enterprise software environments.
