DevSecOps Engineer II

Role Description The DevSecOps Engineer II at American Specialty Health Inc. in Carmel, IN will provide support to development teams through system administration and managing web/network related projects. - Participate in the development SDLC processes to create, support, and refine web applications. - Drive the automation of infrastructure, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, service pipelines, flow architectures, and secure technology capabilities that drive application development velocity and improve access to infrastructure services. - Build new environments for in-house built applications. - Support application environments, including Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, load balancing, and other 3rd party applications that interface with in-house built applications. - Support and configure TFS/VSTS, Build Servers, and Release Management servers. - Support website and application deployments via VS Release Management and TFS/VSTS. - Support build and branching strategies in coordination with the development teams. - Maintain scripts created to support automation of build and release tasks. - Support Big-IP F5 LTM and related applications as part of application environments and deployments. - Implement and maintain automation/scripting via Powershell, DSC, and SCCM. - Work with software, infrastructure, network engineers, and DBAs to solve productivity challenges, drive efficiency, and automate environment builds and application releases. - Develop and support monitoring solutions to ensure application performance and availability goals are met. - Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, security access policies, and automated provisioning. - Work with Enterprise Security and development teams to support vulnerability and software security testing processes and tools. - Coordinate firewall, S2S VPN, and router modifications with the Network team as part of creation and support of application environments. - Participate in on-call support rotation and take ownership of escalated problem resolution. - Attend scrum team, departmental, and staff meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork. - Attend industry seminars, conferences, and training classes to stay current on technology and security. This is a remote position from anywhere in the United States (except for CT, DE, HI, IL, ME, MT, NV, NJ, NY, PA, OR RI, Washington DC, & WA). Salary range: $89,274/year - $150,000/year. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. - 1 year of software engineering experience or related occupation. Requirements - 1 year of experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and Azure virtual networks. - 1 year of experience with networking components, protocols, and security (subnets, firewalls, routing, DNS, HTTP, TLS/SSL). - 1 year of experience with provisioning infrastructure, Azure resources, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring systems. - 1 year of experience with application monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation.
