Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. In this role you will be a key contributor to engineering quality, partnering with development teams to expand test coverage, embed automation into CI/CD pipelines, and accelerate confident software delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks with a clear understanding of testing strategy, including risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. - Write robust, maintainable automated test scripts that exercise critical business flows and edge cases. - Develop API automation using REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or equivalent frameworks. - Create and maintain regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites. - Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) so that tests run reliably on every change. - Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing with attention to compatibility and performance. - Conduct database validation using SQL queries to verify data integrity end-to-end. - Collaborate closely with developers to improve testability, identify defects early, and shift quality left. - Support performance testing initiatives using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6. - Maintain detailed test documentation, traceability, and defect tracking records, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards. - Perform root-cause analysis on production issues to drive lasting quality improvements. - Ensure automation strategy aligns with DevOps and release management processes. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and quality-focused retrospectives, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards. - Continuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and engineering practices, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - Four or more years of QA automation experience. - Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Hands-on experience automating REST APIs. - Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle. - Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines. - Solid SQL skills for data validation. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Build and maintain LLM-based automation to scale privacy operations, including an AI-driven privacy query channel, automated DSAR intake and response drafting, and intelligent request routing • Develop and maintain internal web applications, intake forms, dashboards, and operational trackers that provide visibility into privacy program performance and SLA adherence • Support API integrations between privacy platforms and downstream business systems (REST APIs) • Evaluate, prototype, and productionize LLM-based features responsibly — with attention to prompt design, evaluations, and guardrails, given the sensitivity of privacy-related data • Partner with engineering and product teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into technical development • Automate end-to-end handling of data subject rights requests (DSRRs); escalate complex cases to senior team members as appropriate • Contribute to Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs), developing workflows and automations to maintain documentation to a high standard • Assist in reviewing third-party data processor due diligence responses to identify privacy risks • Help draft and update policies, procedures, response templates, and internal privacy guidance • Support regulatory inquiry responses and data subject complaint management under supervision • Translate complex privacy and technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-technical business stakeholders • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Product, and Engineering teams • Contribute to privacy training and awareness materials as required
