Content Marketing Analyst
Republic Services, Inc.
• Support the creation, support, planning, strategy, and maintenance of Republic Services’ customer-facing digital presence. • Write, test, and publish pages within the CMS (Content Management System). • Review and QA content created by contractors, agencies, or other individuals updating content. • Work closely with the Digital Content Manager and other Content Marketing Specialists to ensure optimized content. • Outline, write, and edit new and existing content for publication online in support of marketing objectives. • Create and maintain municipal microsites supporting city contracts. • Respond to and resolve Service Now tickets for website related issues within SLA. • Contribute to the digital and content strategy, including identifying needs and proposing solutions. • Update web content via CMS. • Serve as a liaison between Digital Marketing and IT. • Provide recommendations on priority for web content and development. • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed with development. • Analyze and report key content performance and use data to support business goals.
Job Requirements
- 2 - 4 years of Marketing, web development and/or other relevant experience.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong organization skills and can provide information to others quickly upon request.
- Interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Teamwork/collaboration mindset with the ability to work with stakeholders and leaders throughout the organization.
- Active analytical curiosity and creativity, as well as a flexible critical thinker and problem solver.
- A passion for solving challenges in simple ways for internal and external customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work diligently and independently, but according to direction and within pre-set guidelines.
- Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization best practices and measurement, web languages, content management workflows, web development, web analytics, digital marketing, and content management systems.
