• Own, prototype, implement, and deploy DataBricks Lakehouse pipelines on AWS. • Research and prototype data acquisition strategies for scientific lab instrumentation. • Build file parsers for instrument output files across a wide range of formats — .xlsx, .pdf, .txt, .raw, .fid, and vendor-specific binaries. • Design and build data models, Python data pipelines, unit tests, integration tests, and utility functions. • Work directly with customers to validate that solutions meet their requirements and solve real scientific needs. • Facilitate internal project post-mortems to identify and apply improvements across engagements.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts in Java and/or JavaScript across the full payment migration scope. • Build test suites ahead of manual QA activity and development milestones — automation-first, not automation-after. • Build and maintain end-to-end, integration, and API-level tests covering payment flows across OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and returns/kit processing systems. • Validate payment-specific scenarios through automation: transactions, token migration, refunds, chargebacks, and edge cases across all integrated systems. • Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous feedback and early defect detection. • Work closely with the QE Lead to align on coverage priorities, execution schedules, and reporting cadences. • Maintain clear documentation of frameworks, coverage, and results to feed into daily and weekly status reporting. • Support automation coverage expansion for additional workstreams pending scope confirmation. • Participate in end-to-end testing sessions and remain available for war room support through go-live and hypercare.

• Execute manual test cases across payment migration flows covering functional, regression, and integration scenarios. • Validate payment processing scenarios including transactions, refunds, chargebacks, and edge cases across OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and returns/kit processing systems. • Document and report defects clearly and in detail, maintaining up-to-date test results to support daily and weekly status reporting. • Collaborate with the automation QA team within a shift-left model — providing early feedback and supporting coverage from the start of development cycles. • Follow testing standards, entry/exit criteria, and defect management processes set by the QA Lead. • Support testing across multiple workstreams as scope is confirmed. • Contribute to hypercare activities post-launch.

• Upgrade Kubernetes clusters to a current, supported version across all environments. • Upgrade Teleport to the latest version — validate bastion/emergency EC2 access before and after cutover. • Upgrade Redis and PostgreSQL (target: 16.x) across all relevant environments. • Upgrade DevOps repositories (Terraform, Lambda, and related tooling) across multiple repos. • Ensure bastion EC2 instances provide reliable DB access as a fallback when Teleport is unavailable. • Sync and standardize Karpenter configuration across all clusters for consistent cost optimization. • Correct Kubernetes internal IP ranges from public (192.171/16) to private (192.168/16). • Assess and implement NewRelic agent upgrade strategy on Kubernetes (manual vs. app-version-driven). • Deprecate unused AWS resources — security groups, EC2 instances, IAM users, and related artifacts.

• Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a production release. • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback. • Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments. • Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution. • Work closely with software developers to create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports. • Work across functional areas with internal partner engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment. • Estimate own testing tasks and works productively with minimum supervision while showing excellent team attitude. • Influence the entire engineering organization on unit/integration/end-to-end tests.

• Write clean, structured scripts (primarily Python and Bash) to automate repetitive security operations, optimize incident response workflows, and eliminate manual overhead. • Build, test, and deploy custom detection rules to flag anomalous behavior, misconfigurations, and potential threats across our cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, or Azure). • Design, construct, and maintain security dashboards (using tools like ELK/Elasticsearch, Splunk, Datadog, or SIEM platforms) to give our team clear, real-time visibility into our risk posture.

• Build and ship UI-heavy iOS features primarily in Swift and SwiftUI. • Run experiments end-to-end in 1–3 day to one-week timeframes. • Take product briefs, run technical spikes independently, and come back with an implementation plan and Jira tickets. • Work cross-functionally with PM and designers to define experiment requirements. • Balance speed with quality — move fast without cutting corners that create future pain.

• Act as the primary engineer for Okta, managing advanced configurations including custom authorization servers, adaptive MFA, and conditional access policies. • Design and maintain automated joiner-mover-leaver (JML) workflows using Okta Workflows, SCIM, or custom API scripts to eliminate manual provisioning errors. • Standardize and implement SSO integrations utilizing SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0, ensuring secure token exchange and scoping. • Design, audit, and refine Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) models across all enterprise SaaS platforms. • Monitor and remediate unauthorized data sharing, public file exposure, and "shadow IT" API integrations within our SaaS ecosystem. • Lead quarterly user access reviews (UARs) and provide evidentiary support for security frameworks such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR. • Leverage SSPM tools or native security centers to continuously audit and harden SaaS application configurations. • Analyze Okta System Logs and SaaS audit logs to detect anomalous behavior (e.g., impossible travel, credential stuffing, unauthorized data exfiltration). • Collaborate with the SOC team to ensure critical IAM and SaaS logs are correctly ingested into our SIEM for real-time alerting.

• Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Write and maintain modular, clean Terraform or OpenTofu scripts • Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) • Build, maintain, and secure robust CI/CD pipelines • Implement modern GitOps workflows to automate application delivery • Design and implement comprehensive observability stacks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic • Participate in an engineering on-call rotation, driving root-cause analysis

• Maintain and manage the master project plan, milestones, and delivery roadmap across all workstreams. • Coordinate dependencies between parallel tracks — desktop collector, ETL migration, Admin UI rebuild, and Marketplace submission. • Ensure Snowflake Marketplace submission timelines (including the 8–12 week security review window) are tracked and sequenced correctly. • Manage scope change requests and keep decision logs up to date. • Conduct weekly status reviews with client leadership and proactively surface risks. • Act as the primary escalation point for blockers and inter-workstream conflicts. • Keep all parties aligned on priorities, constraints, and progress in a high-velocity environment. • Oversee knowledge transfer planning for the 6–9 month handover to the client's offshore software team. • Ensure documentation, processes, and context are structured for a smooth transition.
