Business Development Representative

Schoox, Inc.

As a Business Development Representative at Schoox you will be on the sales frontlines working to identify and qualify new business opportunities for and with your Account Executive(s). This is a critical role in our go-to-market organization. You’ll have the support of the entire Schoox family. How You Will Impact Schoox - Expand our sales footprint by identifying and adding appropriate target contacts, based on our ideal customer profile, to outbound campaigns using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Gong Engage, and other modern systems. - Maintain internal systems with accurate and timely data entry and notes.  - Qualify and convert inbound leads from demo requests, events, and marketing campaigns within a set of accounts you are actively pursuing. - Understand industry drivers and prospect pain points in learning management and talent development to educate, build relationships, generate interest in Schoox, and set up qualified meetings with your prospects via emails, calls, and LinkedIn. - Leveraging account data and intent signals, execute personalized outreach in partnership with sales and marketing leadership, in your territories to set up meetings for your AEs. - Exceed quarterly goals for sales accepted opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous BDR or AE experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) space (specifically within human resources and/or learning and talent management) with proven achievements or surpassing quota. Experienced BDRs are preferred.
  • Sharp business acumen, impeccable work ethic, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be willing to help/partner with others. Teamwork makes the dream work.
  • Must love talking to and building relationships with our prospects and customers.
  • Need to be active on LinkedIn - posting, engaging, and must have a robust connection network.

  • The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the on target earning potential (base + monthly commission) is expected to be between $75,000 - $103,000 a year.

Reporting to the VP, Head of Business Development, the Director of BD role will be focused on the Search & Evaluation (S&E) aspect of the diligence and is expected to support and lead the technical evaluation (scientific, product differentiation, etc.) and presentation of BD opportunities to governance bodies. Who You Are: You must have either a Master’s degree and 5+ years’ experience or a PhD and 2+ years’ experience, with a degree in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or Neurology, as well as 2+ years of experience in CNS/Neurology.
