Developer – Node.js/React, Senior

• Develop, evolve, and maintain applications using Node.js, React and PHP. • Work on fullstack solutions, connecting backend, frontend, integrations and business rules. • Participate in technical and functional refinements with the team. • Investigate issues autonomously, including in scenarios with incomplete information. • Propose technical, architectural and productivity improvements. • Use AI tools, especially Claude, to support development, code analysis, documentation and problem solving. • Support the team in delivering solutions with quality, speed and product focus. • Collaborate with Tech Leads, Engineering, Product and business stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fullstack development on production systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
  • Strong backend development experience with Node.js.
  • Frontend experience with React.
  • Familiarity with PHP.
  • Proficiency with APIs, integrations, databases and web application architecture.
  • Ability to analyze legacy code, map business rules and propose improvements.
  • Good practices in version control, code review, testing and technical documentation.
  • Practical experience using AI in software development.
  • Practical experience with Claude or similar generative AI tools applied to code.
  • Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment, rollback, logging and production environments.
  • Understanding of containers, environment variables and configuration.
  • Willingness to learn and occasionally work with new technologies.
  • High autonomy to investigate, learn and solve problems.
  • Growth mindset with a real desire to develop professionally.
  • Resilience to operate in environments with pressure, change and incomplete information.
  • Hands-on, proactive and results-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to seek context and make progress without constant direction.
  • Good communication with peers, Tech Leads and business stakeholders.
  • Openness to learn new technologies and ways of working.
  • Previous experience in healthcare companies, healthtechs, hospitals, clinics, insurers or care systems.
  • Experience with microservices.
  • Experience in startup, scale-up or transforming company environments.
  • Experience with high-criticality systems, high-volume platforms or complex digital journeys.
  • Knowledge of React Native.
