• Own the end-to-end IR operating cadence, including earnings preparation, shareholder letter drafting, scripts, Q&A, and cross-functional coordination. • Translate Root’s strategy, financial performance, and product evolution into clear, compelling, and consistent external messaging. • Develop and refine Root’s investor narrative, positioning the company as a technology-driven platform while connecting near-term performance to long-term value creation. • Lead the creation of high-quality investor-facing materials that drive engagement across institutional and retail audiences. • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Data Science, Engineering, Business Development, and Marketing to synthesize insights into investor-ready narratives. • Support investor and analyst engagement, including preparation, follow-ups, conferences, and ongoing dialogue. • Prepare the Head of IR and executive team for high-impact interactions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and depth of messaging. • Anticipate investor questions and pressure-test messaging to ensure credibility in complex discussions. • Partner closely with Communications and PR to develop a unified external narrative across investors, media, and retail audiences while increasing Root’s visibility and engagement in the market. • Monitor investor sentiment, peer positioning, and market dynamics to continuously improve how Root is understood and valued. • Mentor and develop junior IR talent by creating structure, providing feedback, and helping build deeper business and market fluency across the team.
Job Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in investor relations, strategic communications, financial communications, public markets advisory, or related roles supporting public company narratives and investor engagement.
- Experience supporting public company positioning, investor engagement, or strategic external communications initiatives.
- Experience advising senior executives on external messaging, positioning, or investor communications in dynamic public market environments is highly valued.
- Proven ability to translate complex business performance into clear, compelling market narratives.
- Experience engaging with institutional and retail audiences, with an understanding of how messaging differs across stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.

Role Description The Director of Payment Integrity Solutions is responsible for overseeing Payment Integrity edit and program strategy and performance across all ACFC lines of business and products (Medicaid, Medicare, Exchange, PBM, BH). This role ensures that implemented solutions deliver measurable value through rigorous analytics, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and NLP-based automation, coupled with continuous policy refinement, and strong Plan and provider stakeholder engagement. The Director leads efforts to monitor effectiveness, address operational gaps, support provider escalations, and guide ongoing improvements in payment integrity strategies and support systems. Key to the role is shifting post-payment projects, where possible, left for prospective adjudication. A key accountability includes managing the Payment Integrity Support Desk to ensure timely and high-quality issue resolution and feedback integration. This role is critical to sustaining and optimizing enterprise-wide payment accuracy and Fraud Waste and Abuse (FWA) program compliance. Work Arrangement: This is a 100% Remote position but you must live in EST or CST time zones.
