Role Description As the Clinical Practice Facilitator you will ensure hospitals are compliant and adhere to all the regulatory requirements for clinical skills and education requirements. You will act as a clinical expert and educational resource so all colleagues understand their responsibilities for clinical education within healthcare. - Ensuring Clinical Practice and Training is addressed in all areas of the hospital and is reflected throughout all aspects of the patient pathway - Participating in the provision of audit reports/presentations - disseminating their findings and assisting in the implementation of recommendations and development of the hospital/groupwide clinical education annual plan - Working clinically if needed alongside colleagues sharing clinical expertise and knowledge - Establishing link personnel in clinical departments and ensure that they receive regular information and training - Providing support with practice development and facilitation for Spire Healthcare, ensuring that policy underpins current best practice in our hospitals - Optimising and developing the external enablers and values necessary for successful facilitation practice for pre and post registration students - Supporting the National Lead in the delivery of effective and efficient education and development strategies - Ensuring the provision of high quality multi professional learning environments - Implementing the National Core Skills training framework 2021 at levels 1 and 2 to facilitate and standardise knowledge and competence - Facilitating understanding and delivery of legal and expert guidance in relation to clinical education through a targeted approach across all staff groups, clinical and non-clinical - Supporting learning into practice from DCIQ, PSIRF, PIR outcomes and key clinical risks Qualifications - Registered Healthcare Practitioner - Previous knowledge and experience of working within clinical education at a senior level - High quality presentation and report writing skills - Accredited teaching and assessing qualification desirable - Proven ability to work with minimal supervision - Proficiency in IT software including the use of Microsoft Office software packages, internet and email - Willingness to travel across the Group - Driving licence would be advantageous Benefits - 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays - Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options - ‘Spire for you’ reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers - Free wellness screening - Private medical insurance - Life assurance
