GIS Software Developer
Trissential
• Develop, enhance, and maintain GIS application components using C# .NET and ESRI v10.1 toolsets • Support system integrations related to Schneider Electric’s ADMS, including CIM import files • Collaborate closely with the GIS Applications Team Leader and broader GIS team on ongoing initiatives • Participate actively in daily standups, sprint planning sessions, and code reviews • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in complex GIS environments • Provide weekly status reports outlining progress, risks, and dependencies • Contribute to documentation and promote best practices in GIS application development
Job Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft C# and object‑oriented development
- Hands‑on experience with ESRI GIS toolsets (v10.1)
- Familiarity with utility GIS environments and electric distribution systems
- Experience working in Agile or sprint‑based development environments
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in GIS or enterprise application development
- Electrical Engineering background or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Experience with Schneider Electric ADMS platforms
- Exposure to GE Smallworld
- Experience working with CIM models and data imports
- Background supporting utility, energy, or infrastructure clients
