• Take ownership of the company’s data stack, including BigQuery and Looker Studio environments • Build and maintain real-time reporting pipelines for marketing spend and campaign performance • Implement and manage tracking pixels, server-to-server (S2S) integrations, and event tracking systems • Design and improve attribution models to support data-driven marketing decisions • Serve as the technical point of contact for the User Acquisition team regarding tracking, APIs, URLs, naming conventions, and troubleshooting • Develop automation solutions to improve reporting workflows and operational efficiency • Build inventory forecasting pipelines across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other ecommerce channels • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and analytics stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and business visibility

Role Description We are looking for a full-time Data Quality Control Coordinator for a 6-month contract, with potential to extend based on study enrollment. As a member of Character’s Data Products & Quality team, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality, standardized datasets that support our observational studies, clinical trials, and research collaborations. In this hands-on role, you will review and validate AI-extracted medical and imaging data, applying rigorous quality standards to ensure accuracy and consistency. Your work will help ensure Character’s data assets are reliable, robust, and ready to drive clinical and scientific discovery. This remote role reports to the Manager, Data Products & Quality. Responsibilities - Review AI-extracted medical record and imaging data for accuracy, following established procedures and quality standards - Verify and update data efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy - Identify and correct discrepancies in data records as needed - Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times Qualifications - Associate’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant data entry, or related experience - Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy - Experience with HIPAA and/or GCP guidelines preferred Requirements - Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work - Ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Adaptable and able to learn new systems and processes quickly - Comfortable using Mac computers - Trustworthy and professional in handling confidential information - Familiarity with ophthalmology, especially glaucoma-related data is preferred Benefits - The hourly pay range for this contract full-time position is $20/hr - $25/hr + benefits. - Benefits include a competitive salary, strong equity incentives, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and an accrued paid time off policy. - Character is committed to recruiting, developing, and supporting colleagues from all backgrounds. • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between third-party platforms and internal systems • Build scalable backend services and API-based integration solutions using Python • Manage integrations across AWS server-less infrastructure including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and related services • Implement and maintain authentication flows, token refresh handling, retries, pagination, polling, and async job processing • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in production environments • Own integrations end-to-end, including implementation, deployment, operations, and incident handling • Write and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and stability of integration services • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to support platform scalability and operational efficiency • Contribute to infrastructure improvements and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.

• Design and build ingestion pipelines for REST API, database sources, etc., using Python. • Own ETL and Reverse ETL end-to-end, including implementation, deployment, operations, and incident handling. • Understand how external systems work (casino platforms, ESPs, affiliate tools) to build reliable integrations with them. • Design DAG patterns: dependency management, partial retry, backfill procedures. • Implement and maintain authentication flows, token refresh handling, and secrets management. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in production environments. • Write and maintain automated tests to ensure the reliability and stability of integration services. • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to support platform scalability and operational efficiency. • Contribute to infrastructure improvements and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives. • Write Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for significant design choices.
