Role Description OKSI is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee operational activities during assigned shifts and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards. This role supervises technicians and operational staff, coordinates daily workflow, and helps ensure production schedules and operational objectives are met. The Shift Manager works closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to maintain workflow continuity and support program delivery. - Oversee operational activities during assigned shifts to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule - Supervise technicians and operational staff, providing direction and support to maintain a productive work environment - Coordinate daily workflow, work assignments, and priorities to support operational and program deadlines - Ensure work activities meet company quality standards and follow required procedures and documentation practices - Identify and address operational issues including equipment concerns, workflow disruptions, or material shortages - Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve operational challenges and maintain continuity of work - Promote adherence to company safety policies and ensure safe work practices are followed - Maintain shift reports and operational records and communicate status updates to management - Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, workflow, and operational effectiveness Qualifications - Minimum of five years of experience in operations, manufacturing, production, or technical environments - Experience supervising technicians or operational teams - Strong leadership and team coordination skills - Ability to manage operational activities in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to operational challenges Requirements - Experience working in engineering, manufacturing, or technology organizations - Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or regulated industries - Familiarity with quality systems and operational procedures in regulated environments - Experience coordinating workflow and resolving operational issues across teams Benefits - Salary range: $69,640 - $93,640 annually - Medical, dental, and vision coverage fully paid by the employer for employees - Three weeks of vacation to start - Automatic company contribution to 401K – 5% of earned wages (no matching required) - Educational assistance and professional development opportunities - In-office (St. Petersburg, FL or Torrance, CA) or remote work (United States) available (position dependent) Additional Requirements - You must have, or be eligible to obtain, a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance - You will be subject to government security investigations and must be able to access classified information - The inability to obtain a security clearance will result in you being ineligible for the position
