Tax Manager – CPA or CPA Candidate
Edge Staffing
• Delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a growing client base • Managing the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections and ad hoc client requests • Facilitating and managing the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns and the accurate, timely submission of all tax filings • Finding and implementing opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures • Delighting our customers with expert guidance and support • Available to work between the normal business day (ex. 9am to 5pm) to be responsive to client requests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Tax
- CPA or CPA candidate (REQUIRED)
- 6+ years (minimum) working in public accounting (REQUIRED)
- Experience working in a client-facing role, communicating with business leaders via email, phone, and video calls
- Tech-forward; ability to learn new software and comfortable using technology in general
- Independent worker
- Ability to coach and train associates
- Experience using CCH Axcess
- Experience using SafeSend Suite
- Prior experience working with small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, family offices, and individual owners
