Job Description

Portfolio Analyst – Investments

The Standard

• Conducting thorough portfolio-level analytics and delivering insightful performance reports • Collecting, processing, and ensuring the accuracy of security-level data and trade entries • Managing and validating investment data, spearheading process enhancements, responding to organizational data requests • Engaging in vendor selection, due diligence, and ongoing relationship management • Partnering closely with principal investment professionals, actuaries, accountants, and product development teams

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field is required
  • Minimum of four years’ relevant experience in principal investment or capital markets environments
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities within an investment or capital market setting
  • Familiarity with fixed income investments such as corporate bonds, structured securities, and private placements
  • Professional Certification: Progress toward, or a demonstrated interest in, obtaining the CFA designation is highly valued
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and at least one major fixed-income analytics platform (FactSet, Aladdin, Bond Edge, etc.)
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
