Job Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of experience in medical coding (physician practice or healthcare facility). - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required (AAPC or AHIMA certification). No CPC-A or CCA. - Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. - Experience with EHR systems, billing software, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high accuracy. - Must demonstrate strong written communication skills to provide clear feedback and improve coding accuracy. - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and physiology to ensure accurate interpretation of provider documentation. - Must live in Arizona. Pay: $13000 / Week Position ID: 1139719 Job Description: The Radiology Physician provides radiological health care services to patients within the scope of their license. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging examinations, interpreting medical images, conducting assessments and screenings, prescribing appropriate treatments, and instructing patients and family members on radiological procedures and treatment options, as well as other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: - Graduation for an accredited medical school as a Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). - Licensed as a Radiology Physician by the state in which the provider is practicing. - Board Certification in Radiology by a nationally accredited medical organization (e.g., American Board of Radiology - ABR) is preferred unless required by contract. - Specialty Certification as per client request and/or state regulations if applicable. - One year of experience as a Radiology Physician preferred. - Role may require collaboration with advanced practitioners per state/facility requirements. - Current CPR if applicable - TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable - Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) - Must meet all federal, state and local requirements - Must be at least 18 years of age - Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice under licensure and scope.

• Responsible for accurately reviewing and assigning Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS), and ICD-10-CM codes for professional claims billed by Capital Health Medical Group (CHMG) for hospital and outpatient procedures • Accurately applies official coding conventions and rules established by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for assignment of procedural and diagnostic codes • Reviews procedure documentation for accurate assignment of ICD-10-CM diagnosis, current procedural terminology (CPT-4) codes and modifiers • Ensures appropriate coding of evaluation and management services when applicable • Meets or exceeds departmental accuracy and productivity standards • Ensures compliance with national coding guidelines and Capital Health's policies for complete, accurate and consistent coding resulting in appropriate reimbursement and data integrity • Fosters teamwork and collaboration • Reviews CCI edits, MUE edits, LCD and NCD coverage before chart finalization • Identifies documentation gaps or inconsistencies and escalate when clarification is required • Collaborates with billing, charge review, and revenue integrity teams to prevent recurring issues • Addresses professional coding pre-bill edits timely to ensure minimal days in DNFB • Acts as a subject matter expert for professional coding • Performs other duties as assigned
