Junior Associate – Capital Markets

• Support execution of construction, bridge, mezzanine, and development financing transactions. • Coordinate lender due diligence requests, underwriting packages, closing checklists, and data rooms. • Assist with review and comparison of loan terms, pricing, leverage metrics, reserves, and covenant structures. • Track financing timelines and proactively identify execution risks or bottlenecks. • Build and maintain project-level underwriting and capital stack models. • Analyze project returns, debt sizing, DSCR, LTC/LTV, interest carry, and sensitivity scenarios. • Support appraisal, lender, and investor packages with accurate financial analysis and project assumptions. • Prepare executive summaries, lender memos, and internal strategy materials. • Manage financing trackers, covenant calendars, and draw process coordination. • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for lenders, brokers, consultants, and financing counterparties. • Maintain organized diligence vaults and ensure timely delivery of information requests. • Support long-term lender relationship management through responsive communication and execution reliability.
Job Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in finance, real estate, investment banking, private credit, development, or related fields
- Strong Google sheets, G-Suite and financial modeling capabilities.
- Understanding of real estate financing concepts including LTC, LTV, DSCR, Cash to close, interest reserves, and capital stacks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and willingness to take initiative without constant oversight.
