Telemedicine Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Role Description Compass Palliative, a leading California-based palliative care provider, seeks outstanding California-based Nurse Practitioners/ PAs with experience and/or interest in palliative care. Our practice provides palliative telemedicine appointments for California-based patients post-hospital discharge. We are pleased to offer FLEXIBLE DAYS and HOURS. Expected hours: 30. The practitioner will be assigned a specific patient load for which they will be responsible. Our program is run by experienced and board-certified physicians who take pride in providing training and in-service education to their staff. They believe in the advancement of their staff as well as creating the best possible outcomes for the patients they serve. - Assess patients in a telemedicine environment - Provide palliative care to treat the patient best - Define and document patient diagnoses - Assure all patients are completely satisfied - Patient and family education and management - Notate findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes - Actively participates in departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals Qualifications - Must be licensed as an NP or PA in California - Must have active DEA license Requirements - Job Type: Contract - Work Location: Remote
