Role Description Prisma is hiring experienced MEDICAL INTERPRETERS to join our team as independent contractors. In this role you will provide Over-the-Phone (on-demand & pre-scheduled) and Video Remote (pre-scheduled) interpreting services to various Prisma clients including the South Dakota DHS/LTSS offices. This is a 100% remote position. Qualifications - Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) designation from NBCMI - OR - equivalent credentials from other qualifying organizations (e.g. State Dept. of Health). - At least two (2) years of experience providing OPI and VRI interpretation in a professional setting. - Two (2) references who can confirm your profession as a medical interpreter. - Minimum age: 18+ years or older. - Minimum education: High School Diploma. - Location: Must live in the United States. - Full fluency in English and your native language. Requirements - Agree to a criminal history background check. - Agree to complete training/courses in data security protocols and protection of personal information. - Provide OPI and VRI service between a state government representative and non-English speakers. - Use polite forms of expression, enunciation, and maintain a high level of customer service. - Deliver correct concepts and meanings between speaker and the Limited English Proficient (LEP) speaker. - Ensure correct grammar, clarity, and tones between English and your native language. - Follow the speakers’ direction, professionally interject when clarification is needed, and manage the flow of a conversation. - Refrain from side conversations with the LEP speaker or entering into any disagreement with the customer or LEP speaker. - Strict adherence to data security protocols and protection of personal information. - Compliance with applicable ethics and standards. Role Description Fidelia Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role focuses strictly on psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and clinical consultation for children, adolescents, and transitional-age youth. You will work closely with our therapists, CBHI community teams, and the leadership team to provide integrated, high-quality, and trauma-informed psychiatric care to families in our community. Key Responsibilities - Psychiatric Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive diagnostic psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents presenting with complex emotional, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental challenges (including ADHD, Autism, Bipolar Disorder, and severe trauma). - Medication Management: Safely prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications for pediatric populations, adhering strictly to pediatric psychopharmacology standards and Massachusetts state monitoring guidelines. - Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Act as the core medical/psychiatric consultant for our clinical team, participating in case consultations and collaborating with therapists, mentors, and the Operations Director to ensure holistic client care. - Documentation & Compliance: Complete psychiatric evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plan sign-offs in our secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) system within standard compliance timelines. Maintain a high standard of HIPAA compliance. - Crisis Consultation: Provide clinical and diagnostic direction during high-risk pediatric psychiatric crises or complex diagnostic presentations. Qualifications - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school. - Successful completion of an accredited General Psychiatry Residency. - Successful completion of an accredited Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. - Active, unencumbered medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. - Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. - Active Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR) and federal DEA registration. - Deep expertise in treating pediatric populations presenting with acute trauma, developmental differences, and behavioral health crises. - Demonstrated commitment to a healthy, non-toxic, and highly collaborative workplace. - Strong alignment with our mission and our motto: "Together we can make it happen."
