As a Team Coordinator - Virtual Support (TC), you’ll engage in a range of exciting responsibilities, including: - Works with field staff and Manager, Clinical Services (MCS) to appropriately schedule clinicians for cases in assigned areas of responsibility. - Communicates appropriately regarding changes in schedule or service delivery. - Demonstrates the ability to be efficient and productive by organizing job duties and responsibilities. - Works with field staff and MCS to maintain current staff and patient schedules. - Submits required reports to appropriate employees within established time frames. - Responsible for all assigned workflow for designated locations, with assignments based on the needs of the Organization. - Works virtually and independently with limited direct supervision using organizational guidelines, policies and procedures and good judgment. Qualifications - Candidates must reside in one of the approved remote worker states: AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, NC, ND, NE, NJ, OH, SC, TN, TX, UT, WI. - High School diploma or equivalent. - 2 years of customer service experience in a customer service role with effective verbal and written communication skills. 1 year of customer service preferred. - Knowledge of medical terminology, home health and/or hospice regulatory requirements, and HIPAA compliance standards preferred. - Experience with EMR and scheduling systems (for schedulers) or document tracking systems (for medical records) preferred, with Homecare Homebase strongly desired. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the organizational skills to prioritize workload based on patient needs, manage high volumes of scheduling activity, and adapt quickly to urgent changes. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to interact professionally with clinicians, patients, caregivers, physicians, and external offices. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Schedules court appearances, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, client meetings and conference calls; arranges business itineraries and coordinates lawyers’ travel arrangements; processes travel reimbursement, maintains calendar and due dates for lawyers as required. - Organizes and coordinates flow of information. Sorts, reads and annotates incoming mail and documents as required - attaches appropriate file to facilitate necessary action; determines routing, signatures required, and maintains follow-ups. Answers phones and directs callers to appropriate persons as circumstances warrant. - Types and composes general correspondence, memos, legal documents, faxes, reports, etc. from various sources (e.g., handwritten notes, tape dictation). Prepares communications outlined by lawyer in oral or written directions. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy. Correlates and edits materials submitted by others. Organizes material that may be presented to lawyers in draft format. Ensures that all correspondence or other documentation is dispatched in a timely manner (via mail, messenger, express delivery services, etc.) - Prepares draft documents such as briefs, complaints, motions, subpoenas, summonses, using firm templates and information from attorneys. Prepares motion binders and special working binders as necessary. - Prepares and formats appellate briefs, appendices, and tables of contents and authorities in compliance with federal and state court rules.
