Manager, Clinical Operations – CRA Line Management, CRA Monitoring Experience Required

• Line management of Clinical Operations staff • Manage staff by establishing goals that will increase knowledge and skill levels • Review workload for all staff in reporting chain • Provide expert operational oversight and guidance to support prioritization of activities • Assist in recruiting new staff • Ensure quality and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures • Work closely within appropriate business unit/region to ensure staff performance on studies • Develop and oversee training plans to address performance deficiencies • Organize and chair clinical staff meetings at regular intervals • Facilitate and support project and team/country reviews
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing degree, or equivalent related experience
- Extensive clinical research experience in a contract research organization, pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Company
- Some time in a leadership capacity or equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required
- Extensive knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and change management skills, both written and spoken
- Strong time management, technical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Knowledge of basic financial concepts as related to forecasting and budgeting
- Ability to travel as necessary (up to 25%)
- Demonstrated experience in Clinical Research Associate (CRA) monitoring activities
- Proven experience in leading and managing CRA teams

About the Position The Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing the work of associates in the warehouse/distribution environment. This position is responsible for the safety and quality of work for departments and areas of responsibility. Functions Determine work volume, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow to ensure maximum cost effectiveness within the department.
