Role Description We are looking for a Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in Java, Python, and Shell scripting to join our team and work on various projects. - Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our users. - Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code in Java, Python, and Shell scripting. - Very good knowledge of SQL/Oracle. - Expected to learn new technologies and tools as required and deliver accordingly. - Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) from requirements analysis to deployment. - Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. - Working in Linux platform, Jira & Agile methodology preferred. - Understand the complete Business requirement and implement accordingly, technically helping the team. - Partner with data architects and engineers to ensure an optimal data model design; knowledge of MDM & Data quality will be added advantages. - Maintain compliance with change control, SDLC, and development standards. - Creation and contribution to technical documentation and diagrams. - Establish a technical vision and strategy with the team and work with the team to turn it into reality. - Emphasis on coaching and training to cultivate skill development of team members within the department. - Responsible for keeping up with industry best practices and trends. - Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve the Data ecosystem. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or related field; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree. - Proficient in Java, Python, and Shell scripting. - Experience with version control tools such as Git, SVN, etc. - Experience with databases such as Big Query, SQL Server, MySQL, etc. - Ability to work independently and in a team. - Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Team player that exhibits high energy, work flexibility, strategic thinking, collaboration, direct communication, and results orientation.
