This role oversees Forms 1099, 1042-S, and 8288 reporting, transaction‑based withholding, and tax obligations related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The role partners closely with the Payments, Relationship and Releases teams as well as external advisors to manage withholding, reporting, reconciliations, and audits while mitigating regulatory and financial risk. The Tax Operations Manager maintains oversight of tax controls, monitors regulatory changes, and supports complex transactional activity, including acquisitions and escrow‑based payments. In addition to day‑to‑day tax operations, this position drives process standardization, scalability, and efficiency through strong operational controls, technology enablement, and cross‑functional collaboration, contributing to the organization's overall compliance and transaction success. Location: This is either a hybrid position based in our Denver, CO office or a fully remote position within the Continental United States. Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $105k and $120k, depending on experience level.
