As a Senior Billing Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating billing requirements for various partners, secretaries, and their clients. Requirements entail billing processes, services, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely entry into the firm’s billing system, while maintaining a high level of customer service. What You Will Do: Invoice Preparation - Order, prepare, and distribute pre-bills for assigned billing partners/accounts. - Assist with electronic billing functions including; pulling disbursement back up, transmitting bills electronically, updating client detail with various electronic billing vendors, etc. - Responsible for recording and maintaining accurate phase, task, and billing codes. - Prepare, produce, and finalize invoices for assigned accounts. - This position will have direct contact with billing partners to resolve billing related issues. - Assist secretarial bill preparers with questions as needed. - Reprint posted invoices and provided copies as necessary. - Produce ad hoc reports as requested. - Assist with billing overflow from other offices as needed. - Update billing addresses and payer information as needed. Client/Attorney Requirements - Respond in a timely manner to Client Accounting emails and help line calls. - Assist with preparing client and/or attorney analyses as needed - Responsible for client audit report preparation. - Maintain client/matter maintenance information. - Support collections staff members in processing billing adjustments, verifying client account balances and assisting in other collections projects as needed. Who You Are: - A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a professional services environment, law firm billing experience preferred. - Experience with financial/billing software packages and Finance/Accounting organizational operations. “Aderant Expert” Billing System experience preferred. - Experience with electronic billing transmission on a variety of eBilling platforms, eBillingHub experience a plus. - Ability to handle a high volume of tasks maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing as necessary. - Proficiency in MS Office. Strong knowledge of Excel preferred. Technical Focus - Conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture, including on-farm and in situ conservation. - Seed systems and farmer-led approaches to crop diversity and local value chains. - Financing mechanisms and instruments for agrobiodiversity (including PGRFA). - Access and benefit-sharing mechanisms and international policy frameworks for plant genetic resources.
