• Create character-driven explainer videos on computer science and computer engineering topics • Animate company mascot character (Korra) including lip sync, facial expressions, body movement, gestures, and hovering/floating movements • Create Korra overlays for screencast/tutorial videos (floating, pointing at key elements) • Create infographic animations including icons, flowcharts, diagrams, data visualizations, text animations, and transitions • Produce animated B-roll for talking head videos • Create short-form vertical video animations for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok) • Create animated graphics for STEM/Robotics/AI newscast videos • Collaborate with the Founder (Subject Matter Expert) to visualize technical concepts • Maintain organized project files for team handoffs

Role Description Keywords Studios is currently looking to expand its team in South East Asia. We're seeking AAA, experienced Environment Artists specifically for a high-quality stylized mobile game project. These opportunities can be located in either Malaysia or Indonesia. This is a permanent, full-time position. An Environment Artist at Keywords Studios: - Creates high-quality environment art with a strong emphasis on lighting, mood, and atmosphere. - Builds, iterates, and optimises lighting setups that support gameplay, narrative, and artistic direction. - Collaborates closely with art direction, level design, and tech art to ensure lighting enhances spatial readability and performance. - Authors and maintains lighting passes, post-processing profiles, and environment shaders/materials as needed. - Troubleshoots lighting issues related to performance, consistency, or technical constraints across platforms. - Contributes to visual benchmarks and helps establish best practices for lighting workflows. Qualifications - Proven experience as a stylized Environment Artist on high-quality mobile game projects. - Strong portfolio demonstrating lighting, composition, and environment art fundamentals. - Proficiency with modern game engines (Unreal, Unity, or proprietary engines). - Solid understanding of lighting theory, color, exposure, and real-time rendering. - Experience with PBR workflows and optimization for real-time environments. - Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and iterate quickly based on feedback. - Experience with lighting tools, profiling/debugging, or scripting for workflow automation. - Only those with relevant working rights for Malaysia and Indonesia will be considered.
