Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Facade Designer and Estimator with hands-on experience in façade detailing and quantity takeoffs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in preparing shop drawings, reviewing architectural and structural plans, and using specialized façade software. You will be expected to collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements. - Prepare accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems. - Perform material and quantity takeoffs by reviewing plans and creating summaries in Excel/PDF. - Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations. - Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specs. - Use Logikal, AutoCAD, and Excel to complete design and estimation tasks efficiently. Qualifications - Proven experience in façade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems. - Skilled in preparing shop drawings and detailed takeoff summaries. - Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel. - Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings. - Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
