Senior Software Engineer
Clarity Innovations, Inc.
• Clarity Innovations is seeking a Software Engineer II to join in supporting USCC. • This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on data pipeline development, systems integration, and SDK contributions across multiple programming languages. • The ideal candidate is a motivated mid-level engineer with working experience in data serialization, pipeline tooling, and transport technologies who is eager to grow in a classified, mission-focused environment.
Job Requirements
- Active TS security clearance required prior to start.
- Ability to work in classified environments and comply with all applicable security protocols.
- Working proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Java, C.
- Familiarity with data pipeline concepts including transformation, validation, and structured data routing.
- Exposure to data serialization formats such as Avro, Protobuf, JSON, or XML.
- Basic experience integrating with enterprise services via REST APIs or message-based systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control workflows.
- Exposure to containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Prior experience in DoD, defense contracting, or other classified environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to production software systems as part of a team.
- Exposure to Apache NiFi or similar data flow tooling.
- Familiarity with message broker or streaming transport technologies.
- Experience contributing to shared library or SDK development.
- Prior experience supporting USAF programs.
- Comfort working in cross-functional Agile teams alongside senior engineers and platform staff.
