• The Application Architect role is positioned between the Program Architect and the Software Development Lead and is responsible for providing technical direction and oversight across scrum teams within a program. • Works closely with the Program Architect to understand business needs and identifies technical solutions. • Collaborates with other Program Architects and Application architects to promote innovation, reusability, stability, scalability, and consistency across programs. • Provides ongoing technical oversight and mentoring across scrum teams to ensure they are progressing in accordance with established architecture direction. • Participates as an individual contributor on scrum teams, especially for more complex design and development tasks. • Researches new technologies and tools to remain abreast of current and emerging technologies, and to introduce new opportunities for innovation. • Passionate about quality and continuous delivery.

• Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, providing deep product and solution expertise. • Conduct compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements for prospective customers. • Answer technical questions and address objections from prospects and customers. • Lead technical deep-dive meetings and workshops, explaining complex architectures and integration strategies. • Understand customer business requirements and technical environments to architect and propose the most suitable solution. • Work closely with the sales team to develop solution strategies and technical sales campaigns. • Contribute to the creation of sales proposals, RFPs, and RFIs, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer needs. • Travel internationally as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support regional sales efforts. • Gather and synthesize customer technical requirements and market feedback, communicating them effectively to Product Management and Engineering teams. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments. • Develop and maintain technical sales materials, including demo scripts, presentations, and best-practice guides.

• Lead the design and architecture of Workday solutions across client projects • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions • Provide functional and architectural guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle • Support configuration design across key Workday modules including HCM, Compensation, Absence, Talent, and Recruitment • Advise on Workday best practices, business processes, security, reporting, and integrations • Work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery, testing, and deployment activities • Support solution reviews, design documentation, and governance activities • Collaborate with technical and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and third-party systems • Identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement within Workday solutions • Contribute to troubleshooting and resolution of complex functional and system design issues
