Job Description

Regional Business Director – MidAtlantic Region, Sarcoma

SpringWorks Therapeutics

• The Regional Business Director will be directly responsible for the management and profitability of their territory and their Territory Business Managers (TBMs). • Coach and develop each TBM to achieve his/her maximum individual potential, resulting in the achievement of key performance results. • Provide leadership necessary to achieve sales goals for marketed products in a region. • Hold ultimate accountability for maintaining effective relationships with key customers in the region. • Develop and maintain relationships with key physician practices, hospitals/clinics, and patient advocacy organizations. • Act as an ambassador to provide insights to the larger organization and increase recognition as a leader in Rare Disease. • Ensure compliance with all Company, industry and government laws or guidelines regarding ethical standards. • Establish a high performing sales team to operate in line with SpringWorks’ sales model and standards. • Oversee the development and execution of strategic sales and account plans. • Monitor and understand sales trends and competitor activities within the area and nation. • Attend sales meetings, training programs and medical conventions as requested.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree (MBA) preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in Rare Disease or Sarcoma and in management role(s)
  • Minimum of 3+ years in direct people leadership
  • Demonstrated successful experience in multiple HQ disciplines (i.e., Marketing, Managed Markets)
  • Previous experience in the launching of product(s), service(s)
  • High science or business orientation
  • Strong understanding of Rare Disease therapeutic area and current trends
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry procedures and regulations
  • Strong business acumen related to Rare Disease selling and Customer account management
  • Proactive; takes ownership of situations and demonstrates strong analytical, strategic and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead successful cross-functional teams through effective motivation and leadership
  • Adaptable and flexible with ability to lead and manage change
  • Demonstrate leadership with peer groups and Sr. Management for a One team approach
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams in a hyper competitive business environment
