Role Description We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join Eleos Health and take the wheel on a new product vertical at an exciting inflection point. The product has found its market fit and is ready to scale — and you'll be the one leading the engineering charge to get it there. This is a rare chance to step into a role with true technical ownership — defining the architecture going forward, shaping how the team works, and leaving a real mark on something that matters. The hard work of validation is done; now it's time to build. You will serve as both the technical lead and scrum master of a small, focused remote team, working at the intersection of hands-on engineering and team leadership. Qualifications - 6+ years of Android development experience. - Proven experience in a tech lead or senior engineering role, with ownership over architecture and technical decisions. - Strong communication skills — you can align stakeholders, unblock your team, and advocate for the right technical choices. - A builder's mindset: excited about greenfield work and creating structure where there isn't any. - Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a strong plus. - Experience managing or leading small agile teams, ideally in a scrum master or similar capacity — an advantage. - Knowledge in React — an advantage. Requirements - Lead Android development for a new product vertical at Eleos, owning the technical vision from architecture to delivery. - Act as tech lead and scrum master for a remote team of 3–4 engineers. - Make key architectural decisions and set engineering standards for the team. - Write and review production-quality Android code — this is a hands-on role. - Run agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. - Collaborate with Product and Design to translate business goals into technical execution. - Build a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
