Role Description As a Commercial Data Analyst, you are responsible for ensuring that data is timely, accurate, and available to stakeholders across the commercial organization. To be successful, a Commercial Data Analyst must partner with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds to design, develop, and maintain advanced analytical tools and reports. They will rely on their technical, problem-solving, and communication skills to transform data into actionable insights and will be asked to perform ad-hoc analysis and present their findings to stakeholders. The commercial team’s role is to deliver exceptional products and unmatched experiences at the right price to customers and do so in a way that keeps our customers wanting to come back again and again. As a commercial data analyst, you will directly support all aspects of the commercial function, including revenue management, marketing, customer experience, sales, and product through advanced analytics and reporting. Role Overview In this role, you will also be an important part of our Finance Data Governance and Stewardship program, driving operational excellence in data architecture and stewardship where you will analyse, govern, and cleanse vendor and customer master data across PTP, and OTC business process areas. An important part of this role will be working with different business units and finance leaders to enforce data governance and exceptions and provide guidance to your stakeholders on best practices related to SAP's standard data elements and metadata. A key responsibility of this position is to perform daily operational activities to ensure adherence to business SLAs, enabling prompt invoice processing within both PTP and OTC functions. You will develop a thorough understanding of the Finance Data landscape-including principal data domains, essential data elements, business rules, and source systems-and act as a steward to maintain the integrity of critical data integrations. This course is an introductory review of the field of cosmology for students with a background in physics and math, but not necessarily astronomy. The course focuses on: - The field of cosmology and its early history. - Relationships to observational astronomy and particle physics. - Observations that led scientists to believe that the Universe is expanding. - Explanations for the expansion, the origin of the Universe, and the evolution of its constituent materials, including dark matter and dark energy. - General relativity and its implications for the structure of the Universe and predictions regarding astrophysical phenomena such as black holes.
