Emergency & Medical Transport Dispatcher

Role Description As a Dispatcher, you will be the operational hub of a busy transport coordination team. You will not be taking live emergency calls — this role is primarily focused on managing scheduled transport requests that come in through multiple digital channels, ensuring runs are accurately loaded into the CAD system, and ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. This is a high-volume, tech-driven role that suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple platforms at once, and takes real ownership of their work. PLEASE NOTE - Working Hours: Rotating shifts covering Monday – Sunday | 40-hour / 5-day work week. Shifts may include up to 12 hours across 2–3 days, with shorter shifts on the remaining days. Weekly schedules alternate between team members. Exact shift times will be confirmed during the process (U.S. business hours apply). - Public Holidays: This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA). - Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Connections via Rain, LTE, 5G, or similar are not acceptable. Applicants without a fixed fibre line will not be considered. - Power Backup: A reliable backup solution is required to manage load shedding and outages (UPS, inverter, solar, etc.). Applicants without a reliable backup solution will not be considered. - Work Environment: Fully remote.
