Product Manager, Payments

• Own the roadmap and execution for Money Movement, ruthlessly prioritizing across payment rails, partner needs, and expansion opportunities while clearly articulating and driving product vision and strategy. • Design payment flows end-to-end: from API contract through ledger impact, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling. • Work directly with banking partners and PSPs on integration, onboarding, and ongoing operations. • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering to translate product requirements into well-architected, production-ready systems. • Partner with ops to improve reconciliation processes, reduce manual intervention, and automate exception handling. • Collaborate deeply with compliance and risk to ensure flows meet BSA/AML requirements, money transmission regulations, and have fraud protections. • Write clear technical specs and API documentation, both internal and client-facing. • Analyze transaction data to identify issues, measure flow performance, and inform product decisions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years experience in Product Management.
- Strong background with building API-based products
- Strong understanding of the ACH network
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise, and actionable tasks.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools, particularly Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – you can write SQL queries and analyze data effectively.
- Preferred Experience building crypto or stablecoins products
- Prior experience in a software engineering or sales engineering-like role
- Experience with building consumer-facing fintech applications
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

Senior Digital Strategy and Product Manager

• Define and develop company-wide strategy of digital transformation across customer experience, sales, marketing, and business units. • Work with marketing and business units to identify initiatives that deepen the digital customer experience in a way that is cohesive and builds upon the larger Paychex strategy. • Oversee the creation, technical development, and execution of high impact digital solutions. • Drive UX/UI strategy of solutions, in collaboration with stakeholders, to create prototypes and designs that support the buyer journey. • Support implementation of solutions by coordinating execution teams and plans across internal/external partners. • Provide digital strategy guidance and governance to Business Units. • Communicate digital strategy and initiatives to company and Executive Committee.

• Own the Enterprise Reporting Roadmap for EverPro business requirements: Define and manage the strategic direction of high-level reporting products used across the company, with a focus on usability, accuracy, and executive alignment. • Lead KPI Stewardship: Act as the SME on all enterprise KPIs – ensuring consistency, clarity, and documentation of definitions and methodologies. • Drive Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with analytics, FP&A, and data engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of quarterly and monthly reporting packages (e.g., for Earnings Calls and Board meetings). • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leaders regarding enterprise reporting needs, data interpretation, and roadmap prioritization. • Reporting QA & Governance: Own the QA process and change management protocols for all executive reporting assets to ensure a high standard of data integrity. • Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in data availability, reporting processes, and visualization tools, and work to drive improvements that scale across EverCommerce’s portfolio of businesses.
