Overview The Infrastructure Technology Manager is the senior technical resource responsible for the reliability, security, and day-to-day operation of Chadwell Supply’s infrastructure environment across all locations. This role leads and develops infrastructure support staff, serves as the escalation point for complex incidents, and owns the delivery of infrastructure projects and vendor outcomes. The incumbent will guide the organization through continued modernization toward a mostly cloud-based environment while keeping solutions cloud-agnostic, ensuring consistent performance, availability, and security within defined service level expectations. In addition, this role participates in the recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees and approves timecards, administers performance reviews, and applies disciplinary measures as appropriate, all while coaching and developing their employees to be successful at Chadwell Supply. What you will need - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field. - 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity with demonstrated experience supervising technical staff. - Experience supporting security controls within infrastructure operations (e.g., firewalling, endpoint security, identity/access management, vulnerability remediation). - Experience leading or supporting infrastructure modernization projects, including hybrid and cloud migrations. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies, testing, and operational readiness to support business continuity. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Strong verbal and written English language skills. - Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including writing documentation and providing executive updates - Strong working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure. - Strong attention to detail. - Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and MS Outlook). How you will make an Impact - Lead the daily operations of enterprise infrastructure services including network, servers, identity services, endpoint platforms, printing, Microsoft Azure, and related supporting systems. - Supervise, coach, and develop infrastructure team members; set priorities, manage workload, and establish clear standards for quality, documentation, and follow-through. - Serve as the primary escalation point for critical infrastructure issues and major incidents; coordinate troubleshooting, communications, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. - Own infrastructure lifecycle management including design, evaluation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of systems supporting business operations. - Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives with an emphasis on cloud readiness and cloud / multi-cloud architecture; support hybrid environments during transition and ensure operational continuity. - Oversee remote access/virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and maintain related access controls, policies, and end-user experience standards. - Manage endpoint protection and server security tooling, including anti-malware/EDR solutions, patching standards, and configuration baselines. - Provide oversight and operational accountability for email security and spam filtering controls, including monitoring, tuning, incident response, and vendor coordination as needed. - Lead cybersecurity practices that intersect with infrastructure, including firewall security, vulnerability management, penetration test remediation, Microsoft 365 security controls, and PCI-related infrastructure requirements. - Maintain and improve backup, recovery, and business continuity capabilities; ensure appropriate coverage for servers, databases, and end-user systems, and validate recoverability through testing. - Ensure all facilities have stable, appropriately sized internet connectivity with resilient failover; manage ISP/vendor performance, recommend improvements, and coordinate upgrades or remediation. - Manage infrastructure vendors and service providers, including contract performance, issue escalation, and ensuring deliverables meet Chadwell Supply standards for reliability and security. - Establish and maintain documentation, diagrams, standards, and procedures; ensure the team produces clear runbooks and maintains accurate inventories and configurations. - Partner with Help Desk and other IT teams to improve service quality, reduce recurring issues, and strengthen monitoring and alerting for proactive support. - Maintain awareness of emerging infrastructure and security threats, evaluate relevance to the environment, and implement mitigations and best practices as appropriate. #INDIT
