• Build, launch, and optimize Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns for local service businesses • Conduct ongoing keyword research and disciplined negative keyword management to maximize budget efficiency • Write conversion-focused ad copy with strong CTAs oriented toward calls and form fills, not click volume • Set up and manage conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) • Manage bid strategies including Target CPA (tCPA), Target ROAS (tROAS), and Maximize Conversions, and adjust based on real performance • Perform regular Quality Score audits and landing page alignment reviews • Build remarketing audiences and run RLSA campaigns to re-engage high-intent prospects • Maintain the agency's 10%+ Google Ads conversion rate standard across all assigned accounts • Build and manage Meta campaigns across lead generation, traffic, retargeting, and brand awareness objectives • Develop audience strategies using Custom Audiences, Lookalike Audiences, and interest/behavioral targeting • Brief the content team on creative requirements — images, video, carousels — that convert for local service businesses • Run structured A/B tests on creative, copy, audience segments, and placements • Set up and maintain Meta Pixel and Conversions API for accurate attribution • Manage daily and lifetime budgets and optimize delivery toward CPL targets • Apply Advantage+ campaigns where appropriate while maintaining manual control over key accounts • Build and maintain monthly performance reports using the agency dashboard, GA4, and CallRail • Translate performance data into plain-English insights — what worked, what didn't, what's next • Present results in monthly client review calls alongside the assigned account manager • Flag underperforming campaigns proactively to internal stakeholders, never at month-end • Contribute to new client onboarding by recommending starting budgets, platform mix, and campaign structure • Identify upsell opportunities in existing accounts (e.g., adding retargeting, platform expansion) • Stay current on Google Ads and Meta Ads platform changes and surface new strategies to the team • Collaborate with SEO and content teams to ensure paid and organic strategies reinforce each other
Job Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on paid media experience managing both Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns in a paid role
- Demonstrated experience managing 10+ client accounts simultaneously, with agency experience strongly preferred
- Strong command of Google Ads: Search, Display, Performance Max, Smart Campaigns, and remarketing
- Solid Meta Ads experience covering campaign structure, audience targeting, creative testing, and lead generation forms
- Working proficiency in GA4 and Google Tag Manager for conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting
- Practical experience configuring and debugging Meta Pixel and Conversions API
- Comfort with CallRail or a comparable call tracking platform
- Analytical fluency — the ability to read a dashboard and identify what to change without prompting
- Clear, direct written and verbal English communication
- Reliable home office setup with stable internet and the ability to overlap with US Mountain Time business hours

This is a one-year, grant-funded position. This position is remote. Founded in 1965, HMML holds the world's largest archive of manuscript photographs in both microfilm and digital format. HMML identifies manuscript collections around the world that need photographic preservation and online access. Its archives now contain more than 500,000 complete manuscripts, ranging in size from large codices of hundreds of folios to brief documents consisting of just a few leaves. Located on the campus of Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, HMML is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that contracts with the Order of Saint Benedict (OSB) for employees and employee services. The Cataloger will participate in HMML's effort to catalog recently digitized Islamic manuscripts from Mali and to support the creation of authority files by HMML's metadata librarian. The Cataloger will do both original cataloging of digital surrogates as well as the correction of existing catalog records, joining the already-existing West African cataloging team and helping to carry out and add to their methods. This position is supervised by the Curator of Eastern Christian and Islamic Manuscripts and reports to the Director of Cataloging.
