Technology Solutions Leader

The Technology Solutions Leader requires a highly skilled and innovative individual with experience in Salesforce, systems integrations, and databases. A successful candidate will be a strong collaborator and leader that is confident in leading and mentoring developers as well as working directly with business sponsors to solve business challenges. This is very much a hands-on role focused on building Salesforce enterprise applications during a period of significant technical transformation. They will be responsible for transitioning legacy systems and architecture to cloud-based solutions with a focus on Salesforce, Reporting, and cloud-based integrations. This person will work with business analysts, the product manager, vendors, developers, and the data architect to design, develop, test, implement, and support solutions. Work will be conducted in a remote environment. This position offers a base salary of $145,000 to $165,000, plus a target bonus of 15% of base salary. Salary within our ranges is determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Responsibilities - Solution Architecture and Governance: - Maintains an understanding of firmwide needs and how the technology solution best aligns with strategy, future scalability, and efficiency. - Collaborate with IT Directors and Data Architect to create a cohesive enterprise architecture with a focus on technology consolidation and simplification. - Partner in creating governance standards around data, architecture, development practices, and release management. - Monitor and approve configuration, solution architecture, and development. - Team Leadership and Development: - Manage and provide day-to-day direction as needed to the development team consisting of Salesforce developers, a Salesforce Administrator, and BI Report Developers. - Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring alignment to business direction, close collaboration as appropriate, and adherence to best practice. - Foster continued professional development and learning across the team to enhance skills and knowledge and ensure retention and growth. - System and Process Optimization: - Convert business processes and end-to-end workflows into cohesive and connected systems focused on automation, scalability, maintainability, and efficiency. - Enhance and maintain existing legacy systems as necessary to support business functions while working towards the CRM and ERP implementations. - Introduce, recommend, and implement new technology tools and solutions to solve existing or future business functions. - CRM Implementation and Integration: - Partner with internal teams and external vendors to implement Salesforce as the enterprise level CRM, including integrations to internal and external data sources, app store applications, and third-party solutions. - Provide oversight to the testing process. - Provide perspective and input to technical support and training needed. - Vendor and Product Management: - Work directly with vendors and product offerings to stay informed of and implement product enhancements, releases, and fixes affecting our corporate environment. - Propose informed recommendations on new features and functionality to improve business processes. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; a concentration in computer science, information systems, or technology is preferred. - Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.). - 10+ years of business and systems experience as a technical resource, preferably as a developer. - 5+ years of experience leading development teams in a technical architecture or similar role. - 3+ years of developer/technical architecture experience in Salesforce. - 3+ years of experience building API integrations. - Experience with a variety of enterprise class tools and technologies. - Experience overseeing technical activities of third-party vendors and/or partners. - Experience working with and extending packaged software applications. - Experience in building and developing a high performing team.
