Your mission is to evolve TabSquare’s technology into a world-class platform, institutionalize innovation through AI-native strategies, and drive the technical vision required to support our exponential growth. Core Responsibilities - Strategic Vision & Platform Evolution - From Product to Platform: Lead the architectural evolution toward a fully-fledged, API-first platform leveraging microservices to connect seamlessly with global partners. - Strategy for Scale: Build scalable engineering foundations that fuel our product growth and expansion into various F&B tech solutions and countries. - Strategic Arbitrator: Act as the bridge between the Management’s strategy and technical execution, translating high-level goals into actionable OKRs/KPIs and making critical "build vs. buy" decisions. - Business & Product Partnership: Work closely with the Product and Business teams to translate strategic goals into an executable technology roadmap. Prioritise product and feature requests to ensure technology directly drives key business outcomes like revenue growth, operational efficiency, and platform modernization. - Engineering Excellence & Scalability - Reliability at Scale: Ensure the platform remains rock-solid as it supports >7000 restaurants, prioritizing 99.9% uptime, data security, and high-performance architecture. - Strong principle-driven solution design: Bring a clear and technologically-sound opinion on the core design philosophies adopted through the product suite. - Operational Discipline: Introduce rigorous processes and development philosophies to manage technical debt while maintaining a high velocity of deliverables. - Data Stewardship: Oversee a growing, and sensitive data ecosystem, ensuring that security is paramount while extracting actionable insights for B2B and B2B2C stakeholders. - Resource Optimisation: Ensure optimal application of resources to meet product development and consumer requirements and ensure the implementation of agile processes. - 0-to-1 Innovation - Institutionalize Disruption: Build a "Labs" engine within the team to experiment with standalone verticals and "moonshot" objectives that could redefine the restaurant-tech industry. - Design Thinking: Foster a culture obsessed with UX/UI, ensuring that complex back-end technology results in frictionless, elegant front-end experiences for consumers. - Leadership & Culture - Leader of Leaders: Manage a high-performance distributed and remote team, mentoring senior managers and ensuring a clear career growth path for all members. - Psychological Safety & Dissent: Cultivate an ego-free environment where rigorous debate is encouraged and all voices can influence the product roadmap. - Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as the technical face of TabSquare in Singapore and the global tech community, showcasing our innovations at forums and industry events. Qualifications - Experience: 15+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5+ years in a leadership capacity. - Industry Expertise: Proven track record in a global marketplace, Food-Tech, or high-scale B2B/B2C ecosystem. - Technical Depth: Strong understanding of modern architecture (Microservices, APIs), Kubernetes in production at scale, Data Science, and ML/AI implementation. - Scale Mastery: Experience scaling systems to support millions of users and managing the complexities of high-growth environments. - Entrepreneurial Spirit: A "0-to-1" mindset with the ability to launch new initiatives confidently. - Analytical Rigor: A data-led decision-maker who challenges fundamental business models and looks beyond "average" metrics. - Communication: An inspirational communicator capable of aligning engineers, product managers, and board-level stakeholders. Benefits - Redefine the Future of Dining - Build AI, fintech, and digital solutions that transform how restaurants operate. - Create Lasting Impact, Fast - We take ownership, move with speed, and focus on what truly matters. See the real-world results of your work quickly and tangibly. - Grow as a Leader - We raise the bar, develop the best, and provide clear career paths to leadership. - Work in a Culture of Curiosity & Excellence - We dive deep, challenge assumptions, and use data to solve problems. We value bold ideas, experimentation, and continuous learning. - Thrive in a Positive, Humble Environment - We bring good vibes through a collaborative, supportive culture where optimism sparks possibility and openness to feedback drives growth.

Nonprofit Board of Directors CIO/CTO Executive

Here to Serve Inc

Here to Serve (www.HereToServe.org), a 501 (c) (3) charity, provides coordinated non-medical support programs and resources for the parent(s) with children battling cancer from the point of diagnosis throughout treatment. 60% of the cancer journey happens in the home without coordinated support. Here to Serve fills this healthcare gap. We believe a child or young parent’s cancer diagnosis is a life-altering “journey.” For that reason, the care and support of families is required to prevent caregivers from losing their health, home, and job, and entering into bankruptcy. Therefore, we provide non-medical wraparound services to meet the daily living needs of families and caregivers navigating their child’s cancer. Cancer is a three-legged stool, not two! Research, Treatment, AND Journey! The journey is as profound and consequential as cancer research and hospitals that treat cancer. Therefore, a family's cancer "journey" requires the same awareness, support, and funding as cancer research and hospitals that treat cancer. Of the billions of dollars of funding for cancer, only .001% is provided to families with children actually battling cancer! Flexible work from home options available.
