Working closely with the Degree Completion Program Manager, this role plays a meaningful part in helping students navigate their path to graduation by reviewing applications, meeting with students in person and virtually, and connecting them with campus resources. The position offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with a wide range of students while providing guidance, mentorship, and individualized support. Design and implement outreach to program participants, encouraging them to meet with a Degree Completion Staff member and provide holistic support. - Evaluates eligibility of completion program applicants using systems such as Inspire, Banner, Wolverine Track, and Scholarship Universe, working with financial aid to determine final candidates. - Collect, document, and audit digital completion program and student meeting data. Maintain confidential records and/or other documents related to students. - Stay up to date on university resources and Completion Program best practices to provide accurate and efficient student messaging that improves student persistence, success, and completion. - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree and/or two years of related experience, or any combination of education and experience totaling two years. Preferred Qualifications Spanish and multi-lingual proficiency allows us to better serve our students. Knowledge - Knowledge of working and collaborating with all individuals and personalities. - Knowledge of data management and best practices preferred. Skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Demonstrated interpersonal problem-solving skills sufficient to work with and relate to a broad range of individuals. - Skills in data management. - Skills in the use of computers and computer applications (i.e. spreadsheet, database, word processing, presentation etc..)
