Job Description

Project Manager, Central Laboratory Services

Precision Medicine Group

• Lead new and existing CRO laboratory projects across a range of disciplines all with the focus on accelerating the development and adoption of novel therapeutics. • Ensures project plans are translated into action and results, requiring internal cross-functional leadership. • Leads and manages all aspects of designated protocols and is accountable for overall project performance and client satisfaction. • Provides internal consulting on project management issues. • Serves as the cross-functional lead for assigned projects and monitors operational delivery progress against contracted timelines and budget. • Prepares and maintains process documents and mentors junior Project Managers. • Create and manage project timelines, budgets and revenue goals. • Maintain detailed daily coordination and supervision of scheduled activities. • Coordinate the development and implementation of new projects. • Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings; prepare reports and correspondences to clients, collaborators, and vendors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field (e.g. engineering)
  • Must have experience working as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories either for a CRO, Pharmaceutical or Biotech company.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Office/MS 365 applications
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; exceptional emotional intelligence
  • Strong understanding of project management and data analysis
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional research and reporting skills
  • Exceptional use of judgement and discretion
  • Able to read, write, and fluently speak and comprehend the English language
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally, including overnight stays (~10-25%)
  • Extended work hours may be necessary in order to meet business demands.
