Software Sales Operations Specialist
Presidio
• Provides operational coordination of the software sales lifecycle from lead to collections • Supports the existing customer install base by creating subscription modification orders as needed • Attends customer calls and meetings to provide operations subject matter expertise around complex software deals • Acts as the primary internal point of contact around software transactions for functional teams including finance, billing, A/R and logistics • Creates vendor registrations and deals in order to assist the sales cycle for software offerings • Models subscription changes to help prepare for True Forwards and customer expectations • Remains current on all licensing and process changes related to software subscriptions and enterprise agreements • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly status, and monthly and annual territory analyses • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Job Requirements
- 3-5+ years of Software, Licensing, or Services sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or business preferred
- Proven history in customer service satisfaction and sales achievements
- Ability to meet and exceed goals and targets
- Knowledge of Cisco Software Licensing and Features for the following Software Enterprise Agreements: Collaboration Licensing Agreements, Security Enterprise Agreements, Digital Infrastructure Licensing including Switching, Routing, and Wireless, Data Center and Virtualization Software Agreements
