Responsibilities Include: The Culinary Assistant's major responsibility is to assist with the preparation and serving of facility meals while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation, washing and storing of all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils and also stocking and cleaning required areas. - Prepare and serve meals to patients, visitors, and staff. - Assist in planning and preparation of future meals. - Understand and use the approved dietary manual in food preparation and storage of leftovers. - Understand and use dish machine and three-compartment sink properly. - Communicate appropriately with patients, visitors, and staff. Qualifications: - Ability to read, write, and follow directions. - High School Diploma, preferred not required. - Prior experience preferred; desire to learn portioning, preparing, and serving required. - Familiarity with Safety and Sanitation practices. - Must have CPR/BLS prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed. - Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card. - Must obtain and maintain an Arizona food handler's card within 30 days of hire. #Rosewood
